Friends…are y’ all doing ok? These are crazy times we are living in and to be quite honest it’s been a little unnerving for us here at TFTWood. This is typically our “fun” time of year. On an average day we hop in the wood shop and create gifts, accessories and gadgets for your kitchen in anticipation of sharing all the things at vending events throughout the Land of Enchantment (New Mexico for our friends who live outside the state). We take inventory. pack our handcrafted goods, load up trailers, and head off to markets…except not this season. As you all know, this is a vital time for our country. A time for all of us to practice social distancing and self quarantine (when necessary). We do it for our parents who are largely at risk for a variety of reasons. We do it for our neighbors who may have compromised immune systems. We do it out of respect and love for one another. And we are more than happy to abide and do our part so that we too can help #flattenthecurve But we have to be honest for just a brief moment, its kinda stressful right? So much of our revenue is generated by being able to come to these vending shows and to share our handmade products with y’all. So much joy is shared when a new customer experiences the buttery soft texture of our charcuterie boards or has their minds-blown with how light-weight our minimalist wallet actually is. We miss that joy! We Miss YOU!!!
So pardon our bluntness for a brief moment but if you’ve had your eye on something from our website for a while, we’d really appreciate your support! Every sale causes a mini dance party in our household, seriously. We’ve loved handcrafting wooden gifts for you for the past 3 years and we’re going to fight like crazy to keep bringing those gifts, and some exclusive new designs and kits, coming to y’all throughout the year.
So thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for finding the joy amongst the chaos. For taking the time to read this message. For supporting our small business through these challenging days and weeks ahead. We are so incredibly thankful.
